REGARDING RESERVATION

Dear Guests,

We are a reservation-only restaurant, our reservation for the next month open at exactly at noon,

12:00 on every 15th of the month.

Before your reservation, please kindly read the following terms and policy regarding reservation itself as well as our dining format and available accommodations. 

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you about any special requirements and for waitlist enquiries, Thank you very much for your understanding.

RESERVATION TERMS AND POLICIES

Reservations for the following month open promptly at 12:00 noon on the 15th of each month. To secure your reservation, we kindly invite you to pay a reservation deposit at the time of booking:

  • Main dining hall: The deposit of CNY 500 per guest is required upon reservation.

  • Private dining room: The deposit of CNY 5,000 per table is required upon reservation, with a minimum spending of CNY 8,000 for the private dining room.

  • The above deposit will be refunded in full, without interest, to the original payment method on the day of your visit to Fabula, and will not be applied toward the dining bill.

  • Please note that reservations may be cancelled up to 72 hours prior to the original dining time (i.e. 72 hours before 19:00 on the day of dining), in which case the deposit will be refunded in full without interest. However, should you cancel within 72 hours prior to 19:00 on the dining date, the deposit will be fully non-refundable.

  • In the event that you are unable to fulfil the appointment due to force majeure circumstances such as natural disasters, public health incidents, government measures, or other unforeseen emergencies, please notify us at least 24 hours prior to the original dining time and provide relevant supporting documentation. Upon verification, we will deduct any actual costs already incurred by the restaurant and refund the remaining balance of the deposit after such deductions. If no prior notice is given, or notice is only provided on the dining date itself, the deposit will not be refunded.

  • Should you need to cancel a reservation or make any changes to your arrival time or party size, please contact us and our team will be pleased to assist you. Our regular customer service hours are 10:00–19:00 on non-closing days. The restaurant is regularly closed every Monday and Tuesday (no customer service is available on closing days). For any additional closure dates, please refer to our official reservation page and notices. If a cancellation request is submitted during closing days or outside customer service hours, and delayed processing would otherwise cause the request to exceed the 72-hour grace period, eligibility will be determined based on the timestamp of the system record when the request was first submitted.

fabula in Latin means a play, or fable. For our small restaurant is built around the stage-like pass, where the chefs plates and add their final touches to our dishes.

DINING POLICIES

  • The dress code is smart casual. Gentlemen are kindly requested not to wear shorts, sleeveless tops, or open-toed footwear.

  • Please avoid wearing strong perfumes or fragrances whenever possible.

  • Smoking is prohibited inside the restaurant. A designated smoking area is available on the balcony.

  • We kindly ask that you respect our policies and refrain from bringing outside food into the restaurant.

  • A corkage fee of CNY 500 per bottle applies to all externally brought beverages. The purchase of one bottle of wine or other beverage priced above CNY 500 from the restaurant entitles guests to waive the corkage fee for one personally brought bottle.

  • Please note that the restaurant assumes no responsibility or liability for any outside food brought onto the premises by guests.

  • Please take care of valuables within the dining area. We respectfully ask all guests to help maintain the environment. Any intentional damage will be subject to compensation based on actual value.

  • Please inform us of any dietary requirements in advance so that we may do our best to accommodate your needs. Kindly note that requests communicated within 24 hours of the reservation time, or later, may be difficult for us to fulfil.

  • To ensure the best dining experience, guests are requested to arrive before 19:00 on the day of dining. For parties occupying more than two tables, service will commence at 19:00.

  • Please note that our menu is subject to seasonal changes, ingredient availability, and other relevant factors. Accordingly, the menu items, presentation, and pricing available at the restaurant on the day of your visit may differ from those displayed at the time of reservation. We will ensure that any such adjustments maintain equivalent standards of quality and, whenever possible, provide advance notice through our official website, mini-program, or the contact information you have provided.

  • Special menus and pricing may apply during public holidays and special events. Except in the circumstances described in the preceding paragraph, the menu and pricing in effect during regular service periods shall be those publicly displayed by the restaurant on the day of your visit.
